Privacy Policy

HTML Code Editor · Last updated: 13 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application HTML Code Editor ("the App") handles information. The App is developed and published by Faisal Nadeem ("we", "us").

In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you write stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not ask you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, or payment details. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or usage analytics, and we operate no servers that receive information from the App.

2. Your Projects and Code

Projects, files, and the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript you write are stored only in the App's private storage on your device. This content is never uploaded to us or to any third party. It is not readable by other apps.

Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data from your device settings, permanently deletes your projects. We hold no copy and cannot recover them for you, so please export or back up anything you want to keep.

3. Internet Access and the Live Preview

The App requests the INTERNET permission for a single purpose: the built-in preview renders your web page inside a WebView, and your own code may reference external resources such as fonts, images, scripts, or stylesheets hosted online.

When your page loads such a resource, your device contacts that third-party server directly, exactly as a web browser would. Those requests are made because of the content you wrote — we do not control them, and the servers involved may record standard web request information (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies. The App itself sends nothing to us. If your code references no external resources, the App makes no network requests at all.

4. Permissions

The App requests no other permissions.

5. Third-Party Services

The App contains no advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no social media integrations. If you installed the App from Google Play, Google's own distribution services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, independently of this App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is a general-purpose code editor and is safe for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13.

7. Data Security

Your content is protected by your device's own application sandbox and any device encryption, screen lock, or passcode you have enabled. Since no data leaves your device, there is no transmission or server-side storage to secure.

8. Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. You remain in full control of your content on your device at all times and can delete it at any time from within the App or by clearing the App's data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
