Python Compiler is a Python IDE for Android. We do not collect any personal data of any kind.
We collect nothing. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising framework in this app.
The app writes two files to its own private documents directory, inaccessible to other apps:
projects.json — your saved Python projects and source filessettings.json — your editor font size preferenceThese files exist solely to preserve your work between sessions and are permanently removed when you uninstall the app.
Python Compiler does not request the INTERNET permission and makes no network connections. All Python execution is handled on-device by the bundled Chaquopy CPython 3.10 runtime.
The app requires no special Android permissions — no camera, microphone, contacts, location, or external storage access of any kind.
The Share button exports a .py file through Android's standard share sheet. You choose the destination. Python Compiler does not transmit files independently or automatically.
Because we collect no data from any user, the app is appropriate for users of all ages, including children under 13.
If our data practices ever change, we will update this page with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
