QR Code Generator & Scanner (app.qrcodegenerator.qrcodescanner.dynamicqrcodegenerator)
Last updated: 29 August 2026

This app collects nothing. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no server of its own. Everything you scan, create and save stays on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

1. Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address, and the app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.

2. How your device permissions are used

PermissionWhy the app asksWhere the data goes
Camera To read QR codes and barcodes in the viewfinder. Frames are analysed on your device and discarded immediately. No image or video is stored, uploaded or shared. The camera is only active while the scanner screen is open.
Photos / media Only when you choose to scan a code from an existing picture, or pick a logo to place in a code you design. The image you select is read on your device. It is never uploaded.
Internet Only to open a link you explicitly tap, in your own browser or app. The app itself sends no data anywhere. It has no backend to talk to.
Vibration Haptic feedback when a code is recognised. No data involved.

3. Data stored on your device

The app saves the following in its own private app storage, readable only by the app:

You can delete individual entries, clear the whole history from Library → menu → Clear history, or turn off history entirely in Settings → Save history. Uninstalling removes everything.

4. Link safety checks

Before opening a scanned link, the app inspects it for signs of phishing — lookalike domains, URL shorteners, raw IP addresses, hidden characters and similar patterns. These checks are rules that run entirely on your device. No URL is ever sent to us or to any third-party reputation service, and the checks work with no internet connection at all.

These checks are a helpful warning, not a guarantee. They cannot catch every malicious link. Always use your own judgement before entering personal details, credentials or payment information on any page a QR code takes you to.

5. Third-party services

The app uses Google's ML Kit barcode-scanning library, bundled inside the app, to recognise codes. It runs entirely on your device and does not send images or scan results off the device.

When you tap a link, share an image, or send a code to a printer, the app hands off to another app you have chosen — your browser, messaging app or print service. What happens after that is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not this one.

If you install the app from Google Play, Google collects its own installation and crash data under the Google Privacy Policy. That is between you and Google; we receive none of it.

6. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. All the data the app creates is under your direct control on your own device, and you can remove it at any time as described in section 3.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
